Sassoon Memorial Tree to be felled

Following an inspection by our tree surgeon, sadly it will be necessary to fell the Sassoon Memorial Tree by the pond on Matfield Green due to extensive damage caused in recent high winds. This will be done in the next ten days or so, please avoid the area until then.
The Parish Council will discuss its possible replacement in due course, in conjunction with the Sassoon family.
