Road Closure – Gedges Hill

Urgent Road Closure – Gedges Hill, Matfield – 16th June 2025 (Tunbridge Wells)

It will be necessary to close Gedges Hill, Matfield from 16th June 2025 for up to 3 days.

The road will be closed from the reservoir entrance to Gedges Lodge.

The alternative route is via B2160 Maidstone Road, B2107 Badsell Road, A228 Colts Hill, Maidstone Road, Pembury Northern By-pass, Pembury Road, A21 By-pass Southbound, B2160 Maidstone Road, Gedges Hill, and vice versa.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 09:30 hrs and 15:00 hrs each day.

This is to enable urgent carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.
