Road Closure – Gedges Hill

South East Water – Temporary Road Closure – B2160 Gedges Hill, Paddock Wood – 16th February 2026 (Tunbridge Wells District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by South East Water, it will be necessary to close part of B2160 Gedges Hill, Paddock Wood, from 16th February 2026 with estimated completion by 18th February 2026.

B2160 Gedges Hill, Paddock Wood, will be closed in the vicinity of Lymans Bank. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via B2160 Gedges Hill, B2160 Maidstone Road, A21 Pembury Bypass, A21 Pembury Bypass Northbound Slip Road to A228, A228 Pembury Road, A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, A228 Maidstone Road, A228 Colts Hill, A228 Maidstone Road, B2017 Badsell Road, B2160 Maidstone Road, B2160 Gedges Hill.

The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via B2160 Gedges Hill, B2160 Maidstone Road, B2017 Badsell Road, A228 Maidstone Road, A228 Colts Hill, A228 Maidstone Road, A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, A228 Pembury Road, A228 Pembury Road, A228 to A21 Pembury Bypass Southbound Slip Road, A21 Pembury Bypass, B2160 Maidstone Road, B2160 Gedges Hill.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow water supply works to be carried out, works are undertaken by South East Water.
