New Emailed Newsletter

The Parish Council have been increasing ways of communicating with residents over the past few years. There is a new .gov.uk website, a dedicated PC Facebook page, regular articles in Roundabout written by Councillors and the Clerk, a dedicated presence at Matfield Fête, the Annual Parish Meeting, noticeboard flyers and of course the formal Minutes of the PC Meetings. A Cllrs Corner was also trialled a few months ago.
There is a section of the public however who are not able to access these methods of communication and who might benefit from a simple emailed newsletter to keep in touch with activities. Many residents may recall the very helpful emailed newsfeed BandMNews, which reached those who were not on social media or who for other reasons could not access the information and news published in other ways.
The Council have therefore created a short quarterly email newsletter (Autumn version attached) that residents can subscribe to which rounds up some of the news to keep everyone in touch with some of the Parish Council activities. With PC elections next May it is vital that as many residents as possible engage with local activities – you cant get more local than your Parish Council.
