Consultation re No. 6 Bus

A reminder for residents that the No 6 Bus is raised in the consultation of the TWBC Local Plan.

The Parish Council has already raised issues at the Examination in Public concerning the plans for Kippings Cross and the effects of the increased motor traffic from all the new development especially on the Maidstone Road, but it seems now there may be a major question about bus routes.

There is a complete lack of information as regards what the effect of the proposal that is being considered to discontinue the No.6 bus between Paddock Wood, Pembury and Tunbridge Wells, which currently runs approximately hourly through Matfield until just after 6pm, would be for Matfield.
