New posts on the Green

The posts have now arrived and the project will start, weather permitting, next week, it will take 2-3 weeks.

There is quite an obvious “grain” on the posts which goes a long way to softening their appearance, its more “woody” than might be expected. The contractor will be taking extra care on the aesthetics, making sure it all lines up neatly, and ensuring that the final look sets off the Green, Pond and Pavilion in their finest glory.
