Road Closure – Maidstone Road

South East Water – Temporary Road Closure – B2160 Maidstone Road, Matfield – 13th July 2025 (Tunbridge Wells District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by South East Water, it will be necessary to close part of B2160 Maidstone Road, Matfield, from 13th July 2025 with estimated completion by 13th July 2025.

B2160 Maidstone Road, Matfield, will be closed in the vicinity of property named Ash Trees. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2160 Maidstone Road, A21 Kippings Cross Roundabout, A21 Hastings Road, A21 Pembury Bypass, A21 Pembury Bypass to A228 Pembury Road, A228 Pembury Road, A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, A228 Maidstone Road, A228 Colts Hill, B2017 Badsell Road, B2160 Maidstone Road, B2160 Gedges Hill, B2160 Maidstone Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow new water connection works to be carried out, works are undertaken by South East Water.
