Work at Jack Verrall Garden

Residents might have seen that the work to transform the Jack Verrall Gardens in Brenchley High Street has started, the front steps have been repaired and re-pointed. This is only the beginning of the project which will include a good amount of tree and shrub work, new benches and signage. The Parish Council has secured £4600 in grant funding for this project and the long term aim is encouraging greater use of this lovely space. More photos will be posted as the work continues and the Horticultural Society will be giving at talk at the Annual Parish Assembly (7pm, Friday 30th May at Matfield Village Hall) to update everyone.
