Road Closure – Maidstone Road

UK Power Networks – Temporary Road Closure – B2160 Maidstone Road, Matfield – 30th March 2025 (Tunbridge Wells District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by UK Power Networks, it will be necessary to close part of B2160 Maidstone Road, Matfield, from 30th March 2025 with estimated completion by 9th April 2025.

B2160 Maidstone Road, Matfield, will be closed outside The Lodge on 30th March 2025 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

 

These works will be undertaken under a road closure on the 30th March, works will then continue under 2 way temporary traffic signals till 9th April.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2160 Maidstone Road, B2160 Gedges Hill, B2160 Maidstone Road, B2017 Badsell Road, A228 Colts Hill, A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, A228 Pembury Road, A228 Pembury Slip Road On And Off, A21 Pembury Bypass, A21 Hastings Road, A21 Kippings Cross Roundabout, B2160 Maidstone Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow new service installation works to be carried out, works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
