HRH the Duke of Edinburgh

On behalf of Brenchley and Matfield Parish Council, it is with immense sadness that we have learned of the death of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Our thoughts are with Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal family.
Flags at Matfield Pavilion and the Jack Verrall Memorial Gardens have been lowered to half-mast and will remain so until the day after the funeral.

In view of this it has been decided not to proceed with having local books of condolence available at Matfield Pavilion and Brenchley Memorial Hall.
