Clerks’ Event

Brenchley and Matfield hosted an annual get together of Tunbridge Wells Borough Parish Clerks on 24^th July.  There are 14 Parish and 2 Town Councils in the Borough and each have a Clerk… some have Deputies and Assistants too… all are hard-working and committed to the areas they serve.  A get together was arranged at the beautiful venue of Matfield Pavilion overlooking Matfield Green where Clerks from 8 Parishes attended to swap stories, ideas and generally chat about our common goals for our villages.  There was much laughter and of course a commitment to help each other to succeed in our attempts to protect and enhance our respective parishes.
